Alleged Hudson car shooter back in court for preliminary hearing Sept. 22

GREELEY - ­ Jose Jair Garcia’s preliminary hearing on attempted first-degree murder charges is set for 3 p.m., Sept. 22, in Weld County Court.

Garcia, who is from Hudson, also stands charged with vehicular eluding and illegal discharge of a firearm after an incident in Hudson in February.

Weld County sheriff’s deputies said Garcia fired a shot down an alleyway after allowing a car to pass. The shots missed the car but hit a truck and a house.
