FIRESTONE — The Carbon Valley Help Center last month announced the launch of a new website at www.carbonvalleyhelpcenter.org.
The website features a variety of information about the local nonprofit including services, donations, volunteer opportunities and contact information.
In its 11 months of operation, the Carbon Valley Help Center has helped more than 350 clients in the area by providing information referral and emergency food supply. Having a website for the organization will now allow even more people to find the Help Center.
Founded in 2013, the Carbon Valley Help Center is a local nonprofit started on behalf of the Carbon Valley Network, which is a local group that exists to share information and enhance collaboration between human services groups, faith-based organizations, the school district, municipalities, Weld County and nonprofits serving the Carbon Valley region and the communities of Firestone, Frederick and Dacono.
The Carbon Valley Help Center is a 501(c)3 focused on helping people in immediate need move toward self sufficiency by unifying Carbon Valley resources. Located at 150 Buchanan Ave. in Firestone, the center is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with appointments recommended.
