Carbon Valley Rec Center looks ahead to new year

    2012 is almost upon us and the Carbon Valley Recreation District is ready to bring in the New Year.
    Breakfast with Santa had an excellent turn out even though it was freezing outside. The new winter holiday camp registration is a great success with many parents registering their kids.
    The new “Recreation Review” for January through April is at the printer and should be mailed out to everyone the last week in December, so check out your mailbox for all the new programs and incentives that the District is offering.
    2011 has been a wonderful year and I will have attendance numbers in my January article.
    I do want to say on behalf of the entire staff and the Board of  Directors of the Carbon Valley Park and Recreation District, thank you all for your continuing patronage of the Recreation District, and we hope to see you in 2012.

• Winter Swim lesson registration - 12/26 through 1/11
• Adult basketball league registration ends 12/30
• 15 percent off annual membership sale begins 1/2/12 - with even more benefits offered
• Recreation Center closed – Dec. 24, 25, 31 and Jan. 1
