Denver James Muse, 84, of Fort Lupton, passed away Feb. 7, 2013, at home, surrounded by loved ones. He was born Aug. 4, 1928, in Delmer, Ky., to Harry and Nellie Muse.
He worked as a farmer, at the Brighton Sugar Factory and then retired at Carnation/Manna-Pro in Fort Lupton. He married Beverly Jean Renfro Aug. 23, 1949.
He is survived by a brother, Warren Muse; sons, James (Norma) Muse and Ronnie Muse; daughters, Linda (Bob) Parmeter, Judy Hessler and Ratha (Glenn) Cantrel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Lennie Muse, sister Zella Weever, and granddaughter Jeannie Ickler.
Services were Saturday, Feb. 16, at Crossroads Church, 1115 First St. in Fort Lupton, officiated by Pastor David Graves. Private interment followed. Erlinger Funeral Home of Fort Lupton handled the arrangements.
