Mead held on for a 6-5 win over Frederick Thursday afternoon on the Warriors' field.
Ryan Cawthra had three RBIs for FHS. Frederick put the tying run on base twice in the seventh inning and couldn't score.
Mead scored its 11 runs in the last trips to the plate Saturday and overhauled Frederick 11-10 in eight innings.
Frederick had a 7-0 lead before the Mavericks launched their comeback.
Jaron Balman had two home runs and drove in four runs for the Warriors. Cawthra had a double. Patrick McCarron had a hit and an RBI.
Michael Broz struck out four in 4 2/3 innings of pitching. Josh Entrekin had three strikeouts in 2 1/3 innings.

Windsor shut out Frederick 5-0 Thursday night in Frederick.
Kelsey Steffens scored twice for the Wizards. No stats were available for FHS.
The Warriors bounced back for a 2-0 win at Northridge High School Friday night. No stats were available for the Warriors.
Track and field
GREELEY -- Makenzie Urban finished fifth in the girls 1,600-meter run Friday at the Weld County championships at District 6 Stadium.
Urban, who was also playing soccer until a quad injury forced her to focus solely on track and field, finished in a time of 5:29.88.
