GREELEY – A Longmont man plead guilty to a misdemeanor weapons charge for his part in an accidental shooting in Frederick this spring.
Adolpho Garcia received a one-year deferred sentence. Weld County District Attorney’s Office spokeswoman Jennifer Finch said if Garcia stays out of trouble for one year, the case will be taken off his record.
Garcia was charged with possession of a dangerous weapon and driving under restraint after shooting a 15-year-old girl with birdshot during a moving party in Frederick.
Garcia entered his plea during a disposition hearing Nov. 9.
