Justin Newton and Katy Moore, formerly of Thornton and now of Eugene, Ore., announce the birth of a daughter, Hattie Jo Newton. Hattie Jo was born at 8:50 a.m. Oct. 8, 2012, at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Oregon, weighing 8 pounds, 6 ounces, and measuring 18.75 inches long.
Grandparents are Sherry (Sharon) Newton, of Brighton; Susy Moore, of Eugene, Ore.; and Jack and Debbie Moore, of Bend, Ore. Great-grandparents are Marry Ann and the late Al Zolman, of Aurora; Maxine Webeer, Lew and Patricia Moore, all of Eugene, Ore. She also has numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in Colorado and Oregon.
Hattie Jo joins her big sister, Ella Maxine, 3, at home.
