GREENWOOD VILLAGE -- The Frederick basketball teams will play at least one more game this season.
Both squads earned slots in their respective 48-team brackets released Sunday afternoon by the Colorado High School Activities Association.
Frederick's boys team (12-11) drew a ninth seed and will visit Thompson Valley (12-11) at 7 p.m., Tuesday. The winner gets top-seeded Lewis-Palmer (22-1) Friday in the second round.
The girls team (9-14) has an 11th seed and also visits Thompson Valley (15-8) for a first-round game Wednesday. No game time had been set late Sunday night. The winner travels to Moffat County (17-6), the third seed in that part of the bracket, for a second-round game Saturday.
