Cassandra Gutierrez and Edgar Thoams Pliego, of Brighton, announce the birth of a daughter, Luciana Avelina Pliego Gutierrez. Luciana was born Feb. 8, 2013, at Platte Valley Medical Center in Brighton, weighing 7 pounds, 4 ounces.
Grandparents are Tomas and Soledad Pliego, of Brighton, and Mary Ann Gutierrez, of Thornton. Great-grandparents are Lucino and Avelina Pliego, of Brighotn.
