Wine fundraiser

    A Toast to Spring, a wine-tasting scholarship fundraiser, is 7 to 10 p.m., March 24, at the Brighton Elks, 101 North Main St., Brighton. This year’s event is in honor and memory of Sheri Simon who began this fund raiser and tirelessly worked to promote the scholarships it supports.
    The evening will include the sampling of a variety of wines and beers, light hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction, a live auction and door prizes.
