Army Pvt. Chad J. Benoit has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga.
During the nine weeks of training, the soldier received training in drill and ceremonies, weapons, map reading, tactics, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid, and Army history, core values and traditions. Additional training included development of basic combat skills and battlefield operations and tactics, and experiencing use of various weapons and weapons defenses available to the infantry crewman.

Katherine Helen Ormsbee, of Frederick, will be installed as Colorado State Grand Bethel Honored Queen for The International Order of Jobs Daughters, June 17 at the Fountains Hotel in Loveland.
She has been active with both the East Lake chapter at the St. Vrain Masonic Lodge in Longmont and also with the Littleton chapter. Her special honored guest and installing officer will be Beverly Downing Bishop, Colorado’s first Grand Bethel Honored Queen.
