FIRESTONE — The Dark Knight isn’t set to rise on the big screen until July 20, but bat aficionados won’t have to wait that long to learn more about the winged creatures.
St. Vrain State Park will present a program this week to explore the 18 species of bats native to Colorado.
At 8 p.m. Friday, June 1, visitors will gather at the Camper Services Building near Mallard Pond for a presentation on Colorado’s native bats and a hike to see the many that call the park home.
