CNG station set to open in Firestone

    The new Weld County SkyBlu Compressed Natural Gas fueling station is slated for a ribbon-cutting celebration from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Friday, June 29, at 11099 E. I-25 Frontage Road in Firestone, just off exit 240 behind Del Taco.
    The station specializes in Sky Blu compressed natural gas, which is clean burning. Among the speakers to attend include: Firestone Mayor Chad Auer, Weld County Commissioner Barbara Kirkmeyer and Alex Schroeder of the Colorado Energy Office.
