FREDERICK — The town of Frederick’s annual Community BBQ Tour kicks off its first event from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, at Crist Park in Downtown Frederick.

After a successful first tour last year, the Board of Trustees and town staff will hit the road again to visit every neighborhood in Frederick with seventeen different stops throughout the community. Residents can come and learn more about what the Town has in store for the future and ask any questions they may have without having to come into Town Hall. Thanks to a generous sponsorship from Stapp Interstate Toyota, the Community BBQ Tour will have an expanded food selection this year that will include hamburgers, hot dogs, bottled water and chips!

“There was a resoundingly positive community response to last year’s gatherings,” said Mayor Tony Carey. “We’re so looking forward to continuing the conversations we started last year.”
