Weed recognition and control workshop April 18

    The Platte Valley Conservation District is hosting a “Weed Recognition and Control Workshop”.  It is scheduled for 6 p.m. April 18 at the Fort Lupton Community Center, 203 South Harrison. 
    Jennifer Cook from the Weld County Extension office will be talking about the types of weeds that are in our yards and how we can get rid of them. 
    Larry Moir, an Agronomist from Agfinity, Inc in Mead Colorado, will be talking about the proper use of chemicals to control weeds.
